Mission Statement

The BUTLER COUNTY FOOTBALL OFFICIALS’ ASSOCIATION mission is to officiate interscholastic athletic competition events in a fair and equitable manner. The BCFOA represents it’s members by promoting the required mission of the OHIO HIGH SCHOOL ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION bylaws and constitution set forth in our charter with respect to PROFESSIONALISM, EDUCATION, GOOD CITIZENSHIP, and ADVANCEMENT to all it’s members.

Commitment

The Butler County Football Officials Association is committed to serving the member schools of the Ohio High School Athletic Association, as well as the Youth Football programs of Southwest Ohio and beyond.

As properly chartered association and members, we will:

• Provide qualified certified officials to officiate
• Abide by the required by-laws, and constitution set forth in the OHSAA and our charter
• Provide impartial officiating duties when assigned
• Honor all assigned game assignments
• Conduct ourselves as adult professional at all times
• Promote good SPORTSMANSHIP, and RESPECT, to all participants, coaches, fans, and fellow officials
• Continue to promote improvement in officiating through education and advancement to our members and our communities
• Continue to be a good community leaders through our officiating
